What is ALSION?
ALSION is an engineering tribology technology for treating friction units. Select a product for the specific mechanism, fuel type and operating conditions.
Should I change the oil before treatment?
Follow the instructions for the selected product. Engine oil should not be changed before completing treatment. Replace power steering fluid before treatment.
Can it be used in an automatic transmission?
The transmission product is intended for manual gearboxes, transfer cases and compatible reducers. Do not use it in conventional automatic transmissions/ATF or units with friction clutch packs. Check compatibility for other units.
When is the treatment complete?
Timing varies by product. Engine treatment completes after the full course and 1,000 km; transmission treatment after 1,500 km. Generator and fuel system products have their own schedules, shown on the product page.
Is it suitable for high-mileage equipment?
Selection depends on the condition and construction of the mechanism. Damaged or broken components require diagnosis and repair. Check compatibility and follow the instructions.
